Driving Range

I have never played the game of golf before. I actually never owned a set of clubs until recently. Mini Golf and Wii Golf does not count apparently for "playing" golf! Last week, I went to the sports store and bought a set of clubs and some shoes and wanted to get the ball rolling on learning on how to play golf. I called an instructor and now am waiting to hear back. So admist the wait, I went to the driving range with my husband. Watching and learning is a whole different ball game. From this amateur lesson, I learned three things, bend the knees, swing the hips, and keep your eye on the ball. I had some pretty good swings where I made great contact, but I would say the majority of the time, it was pathetic! I will practice on loosing up my hips and I felt like I was stiff as a board out there!
